In the begining......

This is us! We met in Dec. of 2007 and right off I Knew he was the guy for me! we had alot of fun dating....but just for a couple months!

Feb 18 2007 Salt lake city,Ut

So in Feb. We went down to visit one of Shawn's "mission friends", my dad knowingly told me before i left "he's probably going to propose to you!" I laughed and told my Dad "come on we haven't known each other for that long!" But little did i know that afternoon on Temple square that my sweetie would ask me to be his forever! It was one of the happiest day of my life....

Happy!

So we became engaged Feb 18 and were engaged a looong 6 months until....

AUGUST 11 2007

When we were married for time and all eternity in the Oakland California Temple the most happiest day!!!!

And then the Honeymoon.......

On part of our honeymoon we made a stop in England..............just kidding :P We did go to vegas for a couple days and stayed at a very nice hotel! everything we wanted to do was right there! We went out for a formal dinner, went and saw the blue man group which was totally awesome because we got to sit FRONT AND CENTER! and then we did a bunch of shopping..

Rexburg Temple!

We were happy to finally have a temple so close!

Even though we live in a small town we still try to have fun!

The Enchanted ball after lots of dancing...we had plenty of time to play with the camera.....and eventually got bored...lol

A year and a half later.......

We have now been married for a year and half and are now expecting our first baby! Its a GIRL!!!! and we are sooo excited!! (this is me at 25 weeks.)

Now the fun begins...

We, well probably more me ;) was really excited to finally get the crib up! It was a struggle at first and took a couple hours but in the end i thought it looked pretty darn cute! and will last a couple years i hope since it does convert into a bed later on!

Easter!

So our last little trip we took was down to boise for Easter, It was alot of fun to see the family and some of my friends which i haven't seen in awhile. While we were down there we did plenty of shopping, went down to the temple, had lots of great food (thanks Dad!) and also enjoyed nice warm weather, but the greatest part was just being out of REXBURG!

Sooooo, if you know me - you will know that im NOT a very good cook, But im trying to become better. So shawn mentioned that he Loves meatloaf, so me being the adventorous one that i am (not!) went online and did a little meatloaf research and found a fairly easy recepie. It took 10 minutes to prepare and cooked for bout an hour, shawn and i both hoped it would taste as good as it smelled.....and guess what?...........................IT DID!!!

Christmas 2009

Here's a quick Christmas update, long overdue. On Dec, 14 Hailey reached her 6 month mark! And she now eats quite a variety of food, its so fun to see what she doesn and doesn't like! On Dec 17-28 Grandma (shawn's mom) came to visit us....wellll actually she came to meet her granddaughter Hailey for the first time! Hailey loved her! and Grandma loved and spoiled Hailey :) This was by far the best Christmas we've had here in Rexburg!

Christmas Part 2

So after we opened our presents, my favorite being the keyboard!!! and also the Wii fit (thank you Grandma!! i use it Alll the time! ) We made our tastey Christmas meal, including Ham this being the first time we've attempted one, and it turned out sooo yummy! we also had,mashed potatoes, vegtables,rolls, cranberry sauce and chocolate pie for dessert! Believe me we were stuffed after that! haha! Later on in the day we also made graham cracker houses, im only showing a picture of shawn's that he was sooo proud of! It turned out really nice there was nothing knocking that thing down! a few days later we took down our tree and the decorations and had to let Hailey watch the train one last time....she would stare forever at that thing! Overall this Christmas was a blast it was so much fun that it was also Hailey's first christmas. Thanks Grandma for coming and sharing Christmas with us!!

January 2010 in pictures.....

SOooo pictures truly speak a thousand words....but im still going to say a little ;) So here are a little Hailey facts.....THis Jan, Hailey reached the 7 month mark! yahhhooo go baby! she is loving to try new foods, sometimes seems to find that playing under her toys is more fun than actually playing in them, has a fascination with red blankets, doesn't normally sleep on her tummy anymore, likes storytime, always has fun playing with daddy, has started crawling kinda, can sit up by herself! often takes naps in her high chair, and for some reason really likes the wii fit board....i have no idea why!

Its Febuary!! the month of love and my birthday ;)

So Hailey has just now learned to pull herself up on her knees! I was on the computer one day and all of a sudden it sounds like hailey is closer! I turn around and let out kind of a scream....hahaha to see Hailey peeking at me over her crib! It was so funny! the pictures by far don't do it justice you would of had to be there!
